Given:

The first side of the right angled triangle = a cm

The second side of the right angled triangle = b cm

To find:

The side of the largest side of the right angled triangle.

Solution:

The largest side of the right angled triangle could be found out by Pythagoras theorem which says the the length of the largest side of the right angled triangle is the square root of the sum of squares of the two sides of the triangle therefore the length of the largesr side will be:

 =  \sqrt{ {a}^{2} +  {b}^{2}  }  \: cm

Therefore the correct option is 2.
