Answer:

Given:-

If the sides of triangle are 4cm, 14cm and 18cm. Find its semi perimeter.

To Find:-

The semiperimeter.

Note:-

As perimeter of triangle = a + b + c; "Semi" means half so, Semiperimeter of triangle =  \frac{a + b + c}{2} ( "a, b, c " are three sides of triangle )

Solution:-

 \huge\red{Three \ \ sides \ \ that \ \ a,b,c = 4cm, 14cm, 18cm}

According to note first point~

▪︎ Semiperimeter \ \ of \ \ triangle = \frac{a + b + c}{2}

▪︎ Semiperimeter \ \ of \ \ triangle = \frac{4cm + 14cm + 18cm}{2}

▪︎ Semiperimeter \ \ of \ \ triangle = \frac{18cm + 18cm}{2}

▪︎ Semiperimeter \ \ of \ \ triangle = \frac{36cm}{2}

After dividing~

▪︎ Semiperimeter \ \ of \ \ triangle = 18cm

Answer:-

Hence, the Semiperimeter of triangle = 18cm.
