if the sides of a triangle are in ratio 2:3:5 and it's perimeter is 150 cm find the measure of each side

saivinay5: PERIMETER OF TRIANGLE=A+B+C

SIDES OF TRIANGLE=2:3:5=2+3+5
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ=10x
10x=150
x=150/10
x=15

2(15)=30
3(15)=45
5(15)=75

1st side = 30
2nd side = 45
3rd side = 75

TOTALLY ALL SIDES EQUALS TO 150CM..

Question:-

if the sides of a triangle are in ratio 2:3:5 and it's perimeter is 150 cm find the measure of each side

Answer:-

The sides of the triangle are 30 cm, 45 cm and 75 cm

Explanation:-

Given:-

  • Ratio of three sides of the triangle is 2:3:5

  • Perimeter of the triangle is 150 cm

To find:-

  • measure of each side

Solution:-

Let, the sides of the triangle are 2x cm , 3x cm and 5x cm

We know that,

{\underline{\boxed{\sf{Perimeter\:of\:triangle=sum\:of\:sides}}}}

According to the question,

➥ 2x + 3x + 5x = 150

➥ 10x = 150

➥ x = 15

Now,

  • 2x = 2 × 15 = 30 cm

  • 3x = 3 × 15 = 45 cm

  • 5x = 5 × 15 = 75 cm

Therefore,

The sides of the triangle are 30 cm, 45 cm and 75 cm
