Given, ratio of sides of a triangle = 3:4:5

Sides= 3x, 4x  and 5x

3x + 4x + 5x = 480m

12x = 480m

x = \frac{480}{12}

x = 40m

Sides:

3x= 3 × 40

=120m

4x= 4 × 40

=160m

5x = 5 × 40

=200m

Therefore, length of the its smallest side is 120m
