If the sides of a triangle measure 13, 14, 15 cm respectively, what is the height of the triangle for the base side 14.

s = a +b+c/2

s-semi perimeter

a,b,c, are sides

s=a+b+c/2 = 13+14+15/2=42/2=21

Area-V 21 (21-13) (21-14)(21-15)

=v 21x8x7x6=v7056=84

84=1/2bh

84=1/2 x 14xh

h=84x2/14=12cm
