let the side be 10cm
perimeter=10+10+10=30cm
therefore after increase perimeter will be
(10+20/100*10)+(10+30/100*10)+(10+50/100*10)=
(10+2)+(10+3)+(10+5)=12+13+15=40cm
increase in perimeter=40-30=10cm
increase in percentage=10/30*100=3.333....*10=33.3333.%approximately..
hope it helps.

It is your answer here

Let each side of the equilateral triangle be x cm.

Then, after increase the three sides are (x+

100

20

x), (x+

100

30

x) and (x+

100

50

x)

i.e. x+0.2x,x+0.3x and x+0.5x

i.e. 1.2x,1.3x and 1.5x

∴ Original perimeter =3x

Increased perimeter =1.2x+1.3x+1.5x=4x

% Increase in perimeter =

Original perimeter

Increase in perimeter

×100=(

3x

4x−3x

)×100=

3

100

=33

31 %

I hope it helps you
