ANSWER:-

Let the principal be P

Then, according to the question let the simple interest be

 \boxed{ \bold{ S.I= P/2}}

Let rate of interest be r

Here time, t= 5 years

We know,

 \bold{{ \rightarrow}{S.I = P \times r \times t/100}}

 \bold{{ \rightarrow}{ P/2= P \times r \times 5/100}}

 \boxed{ \bold{{ \rightarrow}{ R= 10}}}

Hence the rate of interest would be 10%

 \huge{ \underline{ \bold{ᴀɴsᴡᴇʀ....{ \heartsuit}}}}

Let the principal be P

Then, according to the question let the simple interest be

\boxed{ \bold{ S.I= P/2}}

S.I=P/2

Let rate of interest be r

Here time, t= 5 years

We know,

\bold{{ \rightarrow}{S.I = P \times r \times t/100}}→S.I=P×r×t/100

\bold{{ \rightarrow}{ P/2= P \times r \times 5/100}}→P/2=P×r×5/100

\boxed{ \bold{{ \rightarrow}{ R= 10}}}

→R=10

Hence the rate of interest would be 10
