∴ combined equation is ⇒

(4mx−y)(mx−y)=0

⇒4m2x2+y2−5mxy=0 ______ (1)

compare equation (1) with 4x2+kxy+y2

4m2=4 and K=−5m

∴m=±1⇒K=±5
