if the soil has all the nutrients why do we need to replenish it

The soil has all the nutrient but you have to replenish it because when we cultivation crop in land it takes the nutrition from the soil, but when the process of cultivation going continuously soil loose its fertility due to absorb of nutrients by the plant, so,we have to replenish the soil.
