The relationship between the solubility of Ag₂SO₄ and AgBrO₃ is given as  s'³ = 11 s²

where s' = solubility of Ag₂SO₄

and      s = solubility of AgBrO₃

- The dissociation of AgBrO₃ can be represented as:

AgBrO₃⇔ Ag⁺ + BrO₃⁻

So,     K = s × s

          K = s²

-The dissociation of Ag₂SO₄ can be represented as:

Ag₂SO₄ ⇔ 2Ag⁺ + SO₄²⁻

 So,  K' = (2s')² × s'

         K' = 4s'³

- thus, K'/K =  4s'³/s²

⇒ 5.5 × 10⁻⁵/ 2 × 10⁻⁵ = 4s'³/s²

⇒ s'³/s² = (4 × 5.5)/2

⇒ s'³/s² = 22/2

⇒ s'³/s² = 11

⇒ s'³ = 11 s²

- This is the required relation
