Kinetic energy= 1/2× mv^2

when speed is doubled, v =2v

k.e. = \frac{1}{2} \times m \times {(2v)}^{2}

k.e. = \frac{1}{2} \times m \times 4 {v}^{2}

k.e. = 4 \times \frac{1}{2} \times mv {}^{2}

k.e.=4×Previous\: kinetic\: energy
