Hey mate!

Here is yr answer....

Given,

Speed of a light in a medium = 1.5 × 10^8

speed of light in vaccum = 3 × 10^8

As we know,

Refractive index (n) = speed of light in vaccum / speed of light in a medium

n = 3 × 10^8/1.5 ×10^8

n = 2

Therefore, refractive index of the medium = 2

Hope it helps..
