Given,
Speed of a light in a medium = 1.5 × 10^8
speed of light in vaccum = 3 × 10^8
As we know,
Refractive index (n) = speed of light in vaccum / speed of light in a medium
n = 3 × 10^8/1.5 ×10^8
n = 2
Therefore, refractive index of the medium = 2
