Refractive index = 1.5

Explanation:

As given in question ,

Speed of light in air = 3×10^8 m/s

Speed of light in glass = 2×10^8 m/s

So,

Refractive index = Speed of light in vaccum (air)

Speed of light in medium (glass)

= 3×10^8 m/s

2×10^8m/s

Reducing 10^8m/s from both numerator and denominator ,

= 3

2

Dividing 3÷2,

=1.5

Refractive index = 1.5
