Hay friend here is your answer:-
Initially KE=1/2mv^2
After increasing the speed KE=1/2m(v+2)^2
As per que. Says
2×1/2mv^2=1/2m(v+2)^2
So from here we get-
2v^2=v^2+4v+4
Or
v^2-4v-4=0
Solving this eq. We get-
v=2(1+root2)
