given area= 9sq.m

so,

x^2=9sq.m

scarf made is 16 pieces

area of scarfs= 16.x^2=9sq.m

x^2=9/16

x=root of 9/16

x=3/4m= 0.75m

therefore, the length of the scarf=3/4m=0.75m
