if the squares of the equation(b-c)x*x+(c-a)x+(a-b)=0 has equal roots then prove that 2b=a+c

since eqn has equal roots
b2-4ac=o
(c-a)2-4 (b-c)(a-b)=0
c2+a2-2ac-4ab+4b2+4ac-4bc=0
(a-2b)2+c (c-6a-4b)=0
a-2b+c=0
-2b=-c-a
2b=c+a
Hence proved
