There are two motions that influence what time a specific star raises, one is earth spinning on its own axis every 24 hours, and the second one is earth going around sun in 365 days.

Due to earth going around sun; in a year earth effectively completes one additional rotation on its own axis relative to distant stars (not the Sun of course), i.e. 366 rotations with respect to stars in a year.

This extra rotation amounts to 24 hours in 365 days which is 3.95 mins (=24*60/365) every day. Therefore if you see a specific star raise at 9:00pm tonight, it will raise 3.95 mins early tomorrow, I.e. around 8:56 pm.
