If we have two points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) then equation of line is,

y-y1 = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) × (x-x1)

so, equation becomes ,

y-4 = (-2/5)(x-2)

or,

y = -(2/5)x +(24/5)

on comparing to standard equation,

m= -(2/5)

and c= (24/5)
