if the strength of ventricular contraction increases :

More blood is pumped out of the heart

The blood pressure increases

Blood supply to the body organs increases

More oxygen exchange takes place in the lung

But also,

more energy ( ATP) is taken up by the cardiac muscles when their strength of contraction increases
