Hi there!
Here's the answer :

•°•°•°•°•°•<><><<><>><><>•°•°•°•°•°

Let marked price be x
Now apply two successive discounts of 25%, 15% & 10%

%Discount = 25%
Discount price= Marked price(1-%Discount)
= x(1-(25/100))
= x(75/100)
= 0.75x
This is price 1
To this again 15% discount is availed.

%Discount= 15%
Discount price= price1(1-%Discount)
= 0.75x(1-(15/100))
= 0.75x(0.85)
= 0.6375x
This is price2
To this again 10% discount is availed.

%Discount= 10%
Discount price= price2(1-%Discount)
= 0.6375x(1-(10/100))
= 0.6375x(0.9)
= 0.57375x
This is price3 or final price.

Now, find equivalent discount to successive discounts of 25%,15%,10%
Let equivalent discount be d

0.573734x = x - d% of x
=> d% of x = x-0.57375x
=>(d/100)×x= 0.42625x
=> d/100= 0.42625
=> d= 0.42625×100
•°• d= 42.625

•°• Effective %discount availed on successive discounts of 25%,15%,10% is 42.625%.

Let the marked price be ₹ 100 .
So , Selling Price after first discount = 100-25 = ₹ 75 .
Now , Selling Price after the second discount = 75-[(75*15)/100] = 75-11.25 = ₹ 63.75 .
Now , Selling Price after the third discount = 63.75-[(63.75*10)/100] = 63.75-6.375 = ₹ 57.375
So , Selling Price = ₹ 57.375
Marked price = ₹ 100
So , Discount% = (Discount*100)/MP = 42.625*100/100 = 42.625% .
So , Discount = 42.625%
