hey mate!

Let initial price of sugar be X

Let initial quantity used by Y

thus new price = 20% of X + X

= 0.20 X + X

= 1.20 X

new amount = 0.20 Y + Y

= 1.20 Y

Thus we can clearly say that

There no change in the daily routine use of housewife

\huge{\boxed{\bold{\mathfrac{\red{SOLUTION}}}}}

LET THE PRICE BE 100

AFTER INCREASE IT WILL BE 120

AS 20% OF 100 IS 20.

THE PRICE SHOULD BE DROPPED BY 20

SO THAT IT WILL BE 100

SO %AGE DECREASE \ = \frac{20}{120}*100

\ = \frac{1}{6} * 100

\ = \frac{100}{6}

\ = 16.67
