If the sum and product of the roots of the quadratic equation ax^2-5x+c=0 are both equal to 10, then find the values of a and c.

as we know,

alpha + beta= -b/a

10 =-(-5)/a

10= 5/a---------equation 1

alpha×beta=c/a

10=c/a ------------equation 2

from equation 1 and 2

5/a=c/a

5 =c

on puting c=5 in eauation2

10=5/a

10/5=a

2=a

hence , a=2 and c=5
