The value of p and q are 2 and -10

Step-by-step explanation:

given polynomial : px^2+qx+12

sum of zeroes

\frac{-b}{a} = 5\\\\ \frac{-q}{p} = 5\\\\-q=5p\\\\q=-5p..(1)

product of the zeroes

\frac{c}{a}= 6\\\\ \frac{12}{p}=6\\\\p=2

put the value of P in equation 1

q= -5p

q= -5(2)

q= -10

hence , The value of p and q are 2 and -10
