HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

mean =sum of observations /no of observation

mean =50

sum of observation =450

substitute in the above equation

no of observation = 9

if 100 is added to the sum we get 550

no of observations are 9 + 1 = 10

hence the new mean is 55

Answer:

A. 55

Step-by-step explanation:

Sum of nos. = 450

Mean of nos. = 50

Count of nos. whose sum is 450 and mean is 50 = sum of nos. / mean of nos. = 450/50 = 9

So now,

New sum = 450 + 100 = 550

Couny of nos. = 10

New mean = 550/10 = 55
