 { \tan }^{ - 1} x +  { \tan }^{ - 1}  \frac{1}{2}  = 45 \\  { \tan}^{ - 1} ( \frac{x +  \frac{1}{2} }{1 -  \frac{x}{2} }  )= 45 \\   \tan(45)  =   \frac{ \frac{2x + 1}{2} }{ \frac{2 - x}{2} }  \\ \frac{2x + 1}{2}  =  \frac{2 - x}{2}  \\ 2x + 1 = 2 - x \\ x =  \frac{1}{3}
