solutions :-
Let father's age be x

son age be y

A/q

x+y=45..................(1)

3(x-y)=45
3x-3y=45................ (2)

multiply 3 in equation (1)

3x+3y=135
3x-3y=45
=6x=180
x=180/6
x=30

"The age of father is 30.

Given:

The father's age is considered as x

The son's age is considered as y

To find:

The age of Father = ?

Solution:

x+y=45\quad \quad \quad \rightarrow (1)

3(x-y)=45

Father age +son age=45

x+y=45\quad \quad \quad \rightarrow(1)

3(Father age + son age)=45

3(x-y)=45

3x-3y=45\quad \quad \quad \rightarrow(2)

Equation (1) multiplied my 3

3(x+y=45)

3x+3y=135\quad \quad \quad \rightarrow(3)

3x-3y=45\quad \quad \quad \rightarrow(4)

By simplifying the equation (3) and (4)

6x=180

6 goes to right hand side as dividend

x=\frac{180}{6}

x=30"
