Answer:

25th term in this AP is 76.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

SUM OF n TERMS = \frac{n}{2} [2a+(n-1)d]

Here the equaltion of sum of n terms is already given. so just substitute the value of n.

sum of n terms in an AP= \frac{n}{2} (3n+5)

sum of 25 terms in an AP= \frac{25}{2} (3\times 25+5)= 1000

sum of 24 terms in an AP= \frac{24}{2} (3\times 24+5)= 924\\

25TH term in an AP= Sum of 25 terms in  AP-Sum of 24 terms in  AP

25TH term in AP= 1000-924

                            =76
