let n= 1
4(1)^2-3(1)
4-3=1 = a = first term
let n= 2
4(2)^2-3(2)
4(4)-6
16-6=10
now, a1+a2=S2
1+a2= 10
a2=10-1=9
d= a2-a1= 9-1=8
therefore
an=a+(n-1)d
an= 1+(n-1)8
an= 1+8n-8
an= 8n-7
