if n= 1

S1 =a1 = 3*(1)²-4*1 = 3-4 = -1

S2 = 3*(2)²-4*3 = 12-12 =0

a2 = 0-(-1) = 1

=> d= 1-(-1) =1+1 =2

therefore series = -1,1,3,....
