If the sum of n terms off an
a.p. is 3n2 + 5n and its mth term is 164, find the value of m.

T2 = 3(2)² + 5(2) = 12+10 =22

T3 = 3(3)² + 5(3) = 27+15 =42...

A1 = 8

A2= 22-8 =14

Tn = a+(n-1)d

164 = 8 + (m-1).6

164-8 =(m-1).6

(m-1)=156/6
