If the sum of P term of an AP is 2p2 + 3p. What is the common difference

Given

Sum Sp = 2P^2 + 3P

Let the sum of first term

S1 = 2x1^2 + 3x1 = 2+3 = 5 = a1 or a

Therefore, a = 5

S2 = 2x2^2 + 3x2 = 8+6 = 14

Now S2 - S1 = a2 = 14 - 5 = 9

Difference = a2 - a1 = 9 - 5 = 4

Therefore, the common difference is 4.
