Sp = 4p^2 + 3p S1 = 4 (1)^2 + 3 x 1 = 7 S2= 4(2)^2 + 3 x2 = 18 Now we know S2 = A1 (First Term) + A2 (Second Term) So 20 = 7 + A2 and A2 = 20 - 7 = 13 D = A2 - A1 = 13 - 7 = 6 Anow we have a = 7 and D = 6 sp An = a + (n-1) d or 7+(n-1)6 or 7+6n-6 or 6n + 1 Answer
