11 terms = 33

1 term = 33/11

= 3

6 terms = 3 x 6

= 18

Therefore, the 6th term is 18

Given :-

  • S₁₁ = 33

To find :-

  • a₆

Solution :-

Let ,

first term of AP = a

common difference of AP = d

Given that

S₁₁ = 33

\mathrm{  \frac{11}{2}(2a +(11 - 1))d  = 33}

\mathrm{ \frac{11}{2}(2a + 10d) = 33 }

\mathrm{a + 5d =  \frac{33}{11} }

\mathrm{a + 5d = 3\: ...eqn(1)}

Now,

We have to find

a₆

a₆ = a + 5 d

Using eqn (1)

\boxed{ \bf{ \pink{a_6 = 3}}}
