Answer:

30 sq.cm

Step-by-step explanation:

area of trapezium = 1/2 × sum of parallel sides × height

= 1/2 × 12 × 5

= 30 sq.cm

Given :

Sum of the parallel sides and height are 12cm and 5cm respectively

To Find :

Area of Trapezium.

Solution :

As Given that Sum of the parallel sides and height are 12cm and 5cm respectively So ,

Using Formula :

\tt\boxed{Area\:of\:Trapezium=\dfrac{1}{2}\times{(Sum\:of\:parallel\:sides)}\times{h}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{A=\dfrac{1}{2}\times{(12)}\times{5}}

\longmapsto\tt{A=\cancel\dfrac{60}{2}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{A=30}

Therefore :

\longmapsto\tt{Area\:of\:trapezium}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{30\:cm^2}

So ,

Area of Trapezium is 30 cm² .
