Answer :-

  • The area of trapezium is 180cm².

Step-by-step explanation ::

To Find :-

  • The area of trapezium

Solution :-

Given that,

  • The sum of the parallel sides of trapezium= 30cm
  • Height of trapezium = 12cm

As we know that,

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × ( a + b ) × h,

Where,

  • a and b are the two parallel sides of trapezium
  • h is the height [ distance between the parallel sides ]

=> Area of trapezium = 1/2 × ( 30 ) × 12

=> Area = 1/2 × 30 × 12 .... dividing 12 and 2 with 2,

=> Area = 1 × 30 × 6

=> Area = 30 × 6

=> Area = 180

The area of trapezium is 180cm².
