As we know that,
Area of trapezium = 1/2 × ( a + b ) × h,
Where,
- a and b are the two parallel sides of trapezium
- h is the height [ distance between the parallel sides ]
=> Area of trapezium = 1/2 × ( 30 ) × 12
=> Area = 1/2 × 30 × 12 .... dividing 12 and 2 with 2,
=> Area = 1 × 30 × 6
=> Area = 30 × 6
=> Area = 180
The area of trapezium is 180cm².
