Step-by-step explanation:

If,

radius & height = 42 cm

area of the cylinder = 3696cm^2

volume = 16203.67cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

TSA = 2πr(r+h)

= 2x22/7xr(42) (cancel 42 by 7. that is 6x7 = 42)

= 2x22x r x 6

= 12x r x 22

= >264 r = 3696(given TSA is 3696)

r = 3696/264

r = 14.

now,

given ( r + h ) = 42

h = 42 - r

h = 42 - 14

h = 28

Now volume,

V = πr²h

v = 22/7 x 14 X 14 x 28

v = 17248.

Hope it helps.
