if the sum of the squares of zeros of the quadratic polynomial f of x is equal to x square - 8 x + K is 40 find the value of k hint A,B are zeros then a square + b square is equal to 40

Px=x2-8x+k

A+B = -b/a =8
AB= k
A2+B2=40
(A+B)2 - 2AB=40
8 square - 2k=40
2k=64-40
k= 12


The value of k is 12
