Hey,sup!
Let the two numbers be x and y.
As per the question,
1)x+y= 120.
2)x÷y= 5
=> x/y=5.
=> x=5y.
Putting value of x in 1.
=>x+y=120.
=>5y+y=120.
=>6y=120.
=>y=120/6= 20.
So, x = 5y= 5×20 = 100.
Therefore x-y = 100-20=80.
Hope it helps.

Given :
The sum of the two numbers is 120
The quotient of numbers = 5
To Find :
The difference of two numbers
Solution :
Let The first number = x
Let The second number = y
According to question
Sum of numbers = 120
i.e x + y = 120 .........1
And
quotient of numbers = 5
i.e = 5
Or, x = 5 y ..........2
Solving eq 1 and 2
∵ x + y = 120
Or, 5 y + y = 120
Or, 6 y = 120
∴ y =
i.e y = 20
So, The second number = y = 20
Put the value of y into eq 2
∵ x = 5 y
Or, x = 5 × 20
∴ x = 100
So, The First number = x = 100
Hence, The First number is 100 and The second number is 20 . Answer
