Let x and y be the zeors or roots of polynomial

Now,

According to the question,

x+y=3 and xy =-2

x=-2/y

putting the value of x ,

or, (-2/y)+y =3

or, -2 + y² = 3y

or, y² - 3y -2 =0 is required quadratic equation and

taking y = -2/x

putting value of y

x + (-2/x) = 3

or, x² -2 = 3x

or, x² -3x -2 = 0 is the required 2nd equn
