Let p and q be roots of equation

given p+q=-1. and pq=7

general quadratic equation is x^2-( p+q)x+pq=0

hence quadratic equation is x^2-(-1)x+(7)=0

x^2+x+7=0

Given:

sum of zeroes= -1; product =7

Quadratic equation formula is

K[x^2-x(sum of zeroes)+product of zeroes]

Substituting all these values , we get

  • K[x^2-x(-1)+7]
  • K[x^2+x+7]
  • If K = 1, then the Quadratic equation is
  • x^2+x+7
