If the sum of the zeros of the quadratic polynomial ax^2+bx +c is zero, then

I hope you know the quadractic equation.

So the two roots will be

(-b+√b²-4ac)/2a and (-b-√b²-4ac)/2a)

So adding the both zeroes of the Quadratic polynomial we get -2b/2a=0

and hence b=0

and a key point

a can never be zero for a quadratic polynomial..if this happens so..it will never be a quadratic polynomial .
