Let the sum of three consecutive integers be x,x + 1 and x + 2.

According to the question,

x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 20 + ( x + 1 )

=> 3x + 3 = 21 + x

=> 3x - x = 21 - 3

=> 2x = 18

=> x = 9

  • x = 9

  • x + 1 = 9 + 1 = 10

  • x + 2 = 9 + 2 = 11
