Let the two numbers be 2x+1 and 2x+3.

Sum = 12

A.T.Q

2x+1 + 2x+3 = 12

4x + 4 = 12

4x = 12-4

4x = 8 , x = 8 ÷ 4 = 2

The two no. are 2(2)+1 and 2(2)+3 = 5 and 7 Ans.

If you are thinking that why we have taken 2x+1 and 2x+3 as odd no. , then i will tell u that why we have used these.

2x+1 and 2x+3 are always taken as consecutive two odd no.

2x and 2x+2 are always taken as consecutive even no.
