HEY!!!!!!!
let the numbers be x and y
x + y = 8 ....(1).........---> X = 8 - y
HERE ARISES 2 CASES
WHETHER,
CASE:(1):-----X > Y
X - Y = 4(8)= 32......(2)
CASE :2 Y > Xy
Y - X = 32........(3)
NUMBERS ARE:---
PUT VALUE OF X IN (2)
8 - y - y = 32 => -2y =24
y =-12
x =20
PUT IN (3)VALUE OF X
Y -(8-Y) =32
y -8 +y =32
2y =40
y=20
x =-12

Hey friend
Let the two no. be X and Y
So, the equation according to the question will be
=>X+Y=8. eq.1
X-Y=4. eq.2
Taking Eq.1
X+Y=8
X=8-Y
Substitute X=8-Y in eq.2
=>8-Y-Y=4
=>8-2Y=4
=>4=2Y
=>Y=2
Substituting Y=2 in eq.1
=>X+2=8
=>X=6
So, the numbers are 6 and 2
