2x + 3x = 30
5x = 30
x = 30/5
x = 6
Therefore the nos. are :
2x = 2*6 = 12
3x = 3*6 = 18 ans

Therefore, according to given condition

x + y = 30 .....(1)

and

x/y = 2/3

=> x = 2/3y ....(2)

put equation (2) in equation (1), we get

2/3y + y = 30

=> 5y = 90

=> y = 90/5

=> y = 18

put this value in equation (1), we get

x + 18 = 30

=> x = 30 - 18

=> x = 12


Hence, the two numbers is 18 & 12
