If x and y are requered numbers then
As per question,
x+y= -39....(i)
x-y=15....(ii)
Adding them we get, 2x= -24 so x= -12
Subtracting (ii) from (i), we get, 2y= -54 so y= -27

x+y=-39_i
x-y=15 -ii
add both equations
2x=-24
x=-12
put in equation (ii)
-12-y=15
y=27
x-y=15 -ii
add both equations
2x=-24
x=-12
put in equation (ii)
-12-y=15
y=27
