If the sum of two rational numbers is -6/7 and one of them is 1/7 find the other rational number

X+1/7 = -6/7

7x+1/7= -6/7

7x+1= -6/7×7

7x+1= -42/7

7x= -42/7+1

7X= -42+7/7

7x= -35/7

7x= -5

X= -5/7

Hence the answer is -5/7
