If the sum of zeroes of a quadratic polynomial f(y)=5x(square)-(3+k)x+7 is zero find the value of k

Here is your answer,

5x^2 - (3+k) x + 7 =0

Sum of zeroes = 0

Sum of zeroes = -b/a
=-(-(3+k))/5
3+k / 5 = 0
3+ k = 0
k = -3
