Answer:

We have, sum of roots = - b/a

i. e., = - b/a = - (k-7) /1 = - k+7

Now, product of roots =c/a

i. e., = c/a = k+1/1

Given, sum of roots = Product of roots

i. e., = - b/a = c/a

= - k+7 = k+1

= 7-1 =k+k

= 6 = 2k

2k = 6

k=6/2

k=3
