Given that,
Sum of zeroes of polynomial = 3.
Polynomial = 3x² - kx + 6
To find,
Value of k = ?
Solution,
We know that:
☞ Sum of zeroes of polynomial = -b/a .......(i)
By comparing the polynomial by equation ax² + bx + c = 0
- a = 3
- b = -k
- c = 6
From equation (i),
Hence, value of k is 9.
