Given that,

Sum of zeroes of polynomial = 3.

Polynomial = 3x² - kx + 6

 \\

To find,

Value of k = ?

 \\

Solution,

We know that:

☞ Sum of zeroes of polynomial = -b/a .......(i)

By comparing the polynomial by equation ax² + bx + c = 0

  • a = 3
  • b = -k
  • c = 6

From equation (i),

 \tt \implies 3 =  \dfrac{ - b}{a}  \\  \\  \tt \implies \: 3 =  \dfrac{ - ( - k)}{3}  \\  \\  \tt \implies k = 3×3

 \large \implies \boxed {\boxed {\tt \blue {k = 9  }}}

Hence, value of k is 9.
